Director of Recreation and Leisure Services
Paul has served as the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services for the past decade. Prior to coming to the Township, he served as the Director of Parks and Recreation for Cranberry Township, worked as a Program Director for YMCAs in the USA, Japan and The Philippines. Paul started his full-time career developing youth programs for the Walt Disney Work Corporation and has over 20 years experience in the field. He has a BS from Slippery Rock University in Parks and Recreation with an emphasis in Business Management. Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Assistant Director of Recreation and Leisure Services / Facility Supervisor
Ryan has a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership with an emphasis in Sport Management from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. He comes to the Township with over 10 years of experience in Sport/Fitness Management recently having worked for The Wilfred R. Cameron Wellness Center of The Washington Hospital as Director of Operations. Prior to the Wellness Center, Ryan served as the Athletic Director for the Pittsburgh Athletic Association and also worked in the athletic departments at the University of Pittsburgh and Robert Morris University.In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys staying active through weight training, basketball and golf.
Membership and Marketing Services Coordinator
Sarah Povazan, Membership/Marketing Services Coordinator, joined the Recreation and Leisure Services Department in the summer of 2008. Sarah brings along with her 10 years of experience in resort strategic marketing and business planning, market research, sourcing and many aspects of product development and sales. Sarah and her family enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors fishing, camping and boating.

Guest Relations Coordinator
A graduate of Colorado State University with a BA in Liberal Arts, Kristen Parisi, joined the C&RC team as the Guest Relations Coordinator in early 2009. Kristen recently worked for IKEA home furnishings as a Manager in Logistics and Sales Supply Support. Prior to Ikea, Kristen had a 12 year career at the department store Saks Fifth Avenue, holding various positions throughout the country in Sales, Training and Development and as the Assistant General Manager/Operations Manager. In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her children, additionally, she enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
Fitness Supervisor
Bobby Davenport is ecstatic to have such a tremendous opportunity to provide a high level fitness service to the residents of Upper St. Clair as well as the surrounding areas. Bobby is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as a member of the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa). He has worked with a variety of collegiate teams from field hockey to lacrosse and athletics from high school to the professional level. Currently he works with collegiate Field Hockey and Crew. Although athletic training is his specialty he enjoys training all age groups and fitness levels. His satisfaction comes from seeing a person begin to believe in themselves as much as he does and to see the mental and physical development that can only result from hard work and dedication.

Aquatics Supervisor
Chris Biswick is the Aquatics Supervisor for Upper St. Clair Recreation Center. Chris recently worked at the Sewickley Valley YMCA as the Lifeguard Coordinator, and as the Assistant Swim Team Coach for Quaker Valley High School. Prior to his work in Sewickley, Chris worked at the Valley Points Family YMCA as the Aquatics Director. He is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Education. In his free time, Chris loves to run, and is constantly training for marathons.
Maintenance Supervisor
Jeremy Lemley, Maintenance Supervisor joined the Recreation and Leisure Services Department in February 2009. A Bethany College graduate, Jeremy received a BA in Sports Management. He previously worked as the Site Manager in the Housekeeping Department for Central Property Services at the Petersen Events Center. Jeremy has also served as the Site Manager for CPS at the Jewish Community Center in Squirrel Hill where he was responsible for both the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife (Erica), two dogs (Mia and Calypso) and cat (Brutus). He also enjoys golf and watching College Football and Nascar.
Assistant Aquatics Supervisor
Melissa Matucci Lindberg joined the Township of Upper St. Clair at the end of March as the Assistant Aquatics Supervisor. She recently worked as a Personal Coach for Altheus at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness in Bethel Park. Prior to Healthtrax, Melissa interned as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at St. Clair Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Department, as well as interned at Laurel Highland Health Center (Latrobe, PA) as an Aquatic Therapist. Melissa received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University, and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Aquatic Therapy from West Virginia University. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys working out with her husband Jesse and shopping.
Community Program Coordinator
Lynn began her Recreation Department journey by working part-time as the Township's Older Adult Program Coordinator. Since May of 2005, Lynn has coordinated community programs and activities on a full-time basis. As part of the Recreation team and a Township resident, she enjoys having the opportunity to continue along the path of learning, having fun, and interacting with our many program participants. Her door and mind are always open to suggestions and ideas for new classes and improvements to existing programs.
Office Secretary
For the past 8 1/2 years Julie Shriver has worked as Secretary to the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services for the Township of Upper St. Clair. She has enjoyed working with the many community organizations in the township and has come to know and enjoy so many of the residents and their families while registering them for recreational programming.

Older Adult Coordinator
Amy Kerman, a USC resident, joined the Recreation Department team in 2005. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and post-graduate certification in Education in Comprehensive Social Studies. Amy has worked with youth in various capacities, as a teacher, tour organizer, mentor, camp director, and volunteer Girl Scout leader. As the Older Adult Coordinator for the Township, Amy plans the weekly Wednesday lunch and programs for the older adult (senior) residents. She is a resident of the Township, married to Bruce, and the proud mother of Rebecca and Sarah.
Child Care Coordinator
Sandy has worked in child care for seven years. She has also worked in a pediatrician's office and for the Chartiers Valley School District. She has done volunteer work for Pittsburgh Vision Services, helping with their Preschool Vision Screening program. She is certified in Adult and Child CPR and AED training, Infant CPR, and the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid program. She has all current state clearances. Sandy has three sons, and resides in Bridgeville with her husband of 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and cross stitching.
Control Desk Coordinator
Born and raised in West Virginia, Jamie graduated from Marshall University with a B.A. in Social Science Education. She taught High School History in Los Angeles, and then began moving around the country with her husband who works for a non-profit organization. She worked for the YMCA in Maine before moving here to Pennsylvania three years ago. Jamie and her family are now settled here, and plan to stay for quite some time. She and her husband reside in Bethel Park and spend their time enjoying their five children, and two dogs!
Membership Specialist
If you come to the Community & Recreation Center, either for a tour or to become a member, Storm will be one of the C&RC Membership Specialist who takes care of you. Storm also teaches the Dog Obedience class for Upper St. Clair Township. Her expertise and proficiency has been made known by taking just one glance at one of her three well-trained German Shepherds. Storm has lived in USC for 23 years, and has one son, Scott, who is active in the United States AirForce.

Facility Rental Specialist
Courtney is a recent graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in School Psychology. She has been a part of the USC Recreation Department in various roles over the past six years, including the Summer Playground Program as well as in the Administration Office.
